Morocco

A 9-day trip to Morocco, dividing our time between the hustle & bustle of Marrakesh and the calm of the Ourika valley - in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains.

Undertaken in March 2018, the intention was to capture pictures showing the people and the scenery of two very different parts of Morocco, albeit they were separated by a drive of just 1.5 hours.

Marrakech is an extremely busy and bustling city, especially in the central market district and around the main square - the Jemaa el Fna - and the souks. Away from here, you can find quiet, peaceful streets.

The Ourika valley was the complete opposite, quiet, peaceful and with some lovely views of the Atlas mountains - and with some great walking in the foothills.

All in all a very interesting place to visit. For more information, see my blog article - Photography in……….Morocco.
