Lisbon, Portugal
Enjoyed 4-5 days in Lisbon in May ‘ 23, a delightful city, with lots to see and do.
To quote Lonely Planet, it’s “Seven cinematic hillsides overlooking the Rio Tejo cradle Lisbon's postcard-perfect panorama of cobbled alleyways, ancient ruins and white-domed cathedrals, a captivating scene crafted over centuries.”
It’s known for its hills, its trams, its tiles and its ‘pastel de nata’, or custard tarts. I particularly liked the old city, the Alfama district, in particular, parts of which won’t have changed in hundreds of years.
Definitely recommended.
